Elementary Kids
Kindergarten - 2nd Grade (ages 5-8)
We are delighted to offer a comprehensive educational program for children that is The Wesley School.
Worship on Sundays is the central component to our ministry with this age group. We establish a foundation of why worship matters, how we worship, and how we respect others around us. Your child begins with you in the sanctuary, is invited forward for the Children's Message with the Pastor, and then departs for Jr Church where they learn prayer, testimony, scripture and also learn music for participation in cherub choir. The Cherub Choir also meets on Wednesday nights when we have a community dinner and choir practices. The Junior Church will sing in worship and are welcomed to participate in the Christmas Pageant and other chancel dramas. Ms. Julie will offer a Kids Bible Academy in January for 10 weeks on Wednesdays 3:30-5:00pm.
3rd Grade - 5th Grade (ages 8-11)
Discipleship of this age group widens from Junior Church to include deeper learning of scripture and participation in acts of worship on Sunday. This age group begins to be trained for serving as acolyte, reading scripture, and serving others. They continue to attend Sunday School on Sundays. Kids in this age are welcomed to enroll in Kids Bible Academy with Julie Todzia for this fall for an opportunity to read learn the Bible and apply scripture to life, and discover daily meditation as a means of growing closer to God. Kids Bible Academy is Wednesdays after school until 5pm and kids are welcomed to stay for dinner and attend choir practice at 6pm.
